Gravelines-Dunkerque (1-0) crushed at home SPO Rouen (0-1) by 22 points 89-67, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Gravelines-Dunkerque. SPO Rouen was better in second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SPO Rouen to just 7 points in first quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Andrew Albicy (178-90) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winners. American Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 22 points and the other American import point guard Kerron Johnson (185-90, college: Belmont) added 16 points in the effort for SPO Rouen. Gravelines-Dunkerque's next round opponent will be Sluc Nancy on the road which should be another easy win for them. SPO Rouen will play against Paris-Levallois and hope to win that game.
