But CB Tarragona 2017 was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Morón de la Frontera 77-74 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-74. Guard Alejandro Marin (190-88) stepped up and scored 9 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and guard Juan Toledo (190-96) chipped in 20 points. Moron's coach Javier Fijo used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side center David Mesa (202-80) responded with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Daniel Martinez (199-94) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Moron will face Getafe (#9) in Madrid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CB Tarragona 2017 will play on the road against Sammic ISB in Azpeitia and hope to win that game.
