Regular Season Round 1: Olesnica - Rawia 70-89

Olesnica was not able to use a home court advantage and was outleveled by the opponent from Rawicz 89-70 on Saturday night. Power forward Jakub Dryjanski (202-82) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and forward Pawel Stankiewicz (195-82) chipped in 18 points. Four Rawia players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Grzegorz Kaczmarek (193-83) responded with 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Wojciech Suprun (203-82) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Olesnica's coach Piotr Gliniak let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rawia will face Nowa Sol at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Olesnica will play against Sudety in Jelenia Gora and hope to win that game.
