Regular Season Round 2: SKK Siedlce - AZS AWF Mick. 73-75

A very interesting game took place in Siedlce. It ended with only two-point home defeat of SKK Siedlce (0-2) to AZS AWF Mick. (1-1) 75-73 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was a great shooting night for AZS AWF Mick. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Mariusz Piotrkowski (198-84) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Lukasz Szczypka (185-80) supported him with 19 points and 6 assists. AZS AWF Mick.'s coach Miroslaw Stawowski allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 14 points and 6 rebounds by Marcin Kowalewski (200-86, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for SKK Siedlce. Guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) added 14 points for the hosts. Four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. AZS AWF Mick.'s next round opponent will be GKS Tychy at home and are hoping to win another game. SKK Siedlce will play against GTK Gliwice and hope to win that game.
