Polonia Bytom's road win over Alba Chorzow 64-58 was very exciting. Strangely Alba Chorzow outrebounded Polonia Bytom 46-33 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Alba Chorzow was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Emil Podkowinski (194-88) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side forward Michal Batorski (200-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and guard Jakub Maksymiuk (192-93) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Alba Chorzow's coach Rafal Sobecki tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Polonia Bytom will face Pogon RS in Ruda Slaska in the next round. Alba Chorzow will play on the road against MCKiS Jaworz. in Jaworzno and hope to win that game.
