Regular Season Round 1: Le Mans - Paris-Levallois 65-59

Le Mans used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Levallois 65-59. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 18-9. But Paris-Levallois won third quarter 15-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Le Mans shot 24 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Paris-Levallois only scored eight points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Le Mans' coach Erman Kunter allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Haylett Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Jason Rich (191-86) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Le Mans' next round opponent will be Chalon/Saor on the road and are hoping to win another game. Paris-Levallois will play against SPO Rouen and hope to win that game.
