Regular Season Round 1: Strasbourg - ASVEL 77-87

Strasbourg IG was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Villeurbanne 87-77. The game was mostly controlled by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. Strasbourg IG was better in fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's next round opponent will be Cholet Basket at home, which may be the game of the day. Strasbourg IG will play against Chalons-Reims and hope to win that game.
