Regular Season Round 2: La Rochelle - Caen 80-78

A very interesting game took place in La Rochelle. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Caen (0-2) to La Rochelle (1-1) 80-78 on Saturday evening. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 30-20 Caen's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 80-78 at the end of the game. 32 personal fouls committed by Caen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. La Rochelle's next round opponent will be Rueil (#9) on the road. Caen will play against Berck (#7) and hope to win that game.
