CB Prat was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Logrono 108-81 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Cocinas.com. CB Prat was better in second period 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cocinas.com shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Czech point guard Jakub Kudlacek (193-90) stepped up and scored 22 points and 4 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners and American center Babatunde Olumuyiwa (203-92, college: USC Upstate) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Gerbert Marti (203-91) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Xabier Lopez (198-97) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Cocinas.com and four CB Prat players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cocinas.com will face Burgos on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CB Prat will play against Leche Rio Breogan in Lugo and hope to win that game.
