KFUM Uppsala used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Taby 79-71 on Sunday night. Taby Basket was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 28-18 charge of KFUM Uppsala, which allowed them to win the game. KFUM Uppsala outrebounded Taby Basket 46-22 including a 23-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Anes Zekovic (195-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. Guard Jonas Ehlde (188-92) produced 32 points and 6 rebounds and Marcus Friman added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KFUM Uppsala will face Orongo Dragons (#11) in Sundsvall in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Taby Basket will play at home against Jarfalla and hope to win that game.
