Regular Season Round 1: LKS Lodz - Stal SW 88-69

LKS Lodz used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Stalowa Wola 88-69 on Sunday night. LKS Lodz outrebounded Stal SW 51-26 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Arkadiusz Swit (200-93) stepped up and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Piotr Trepka (182-80) chipped in 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five LKS Lodz players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Rafal Partyka (184-79) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Mateusz Labuda (183-83) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. LKS Lodz will face Tur Bielsk Pdl. in Bielsk Podlaski in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Stal SW will play at home against Start Lublin II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
