Regular Season Round 2: Colo Colo - AB Ancud 89-76

No shocking result in a game when Colo Colo (2-0) beat AB Ancud (0-2) in Santiago 89-76 on Sunday. The game without a history. Colo Colo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Colo Colo outrebounded AB Ancud 45-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. Guard Fernando Schuler (189-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. International forward Jorge Schuler (199-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) replied with 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Cristobal Infante (201-88) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for AB Ancud. Five Colo Colo and four AB Ancud players scored in double figures. Colo Colo will face Tinguiririca S.F. in San Fernando in the next round which should be an easy win for them. AB Ancud will play at home against Universidad Catolica and hope to win that game.
