Regular Season Round 2: Trelleborg - Huddinge 85-96

There was an upset when Trelleborg (1-1) was defeated at home by Huddinge (0-2) 96-85 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 53-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Huddinge outrebounded Trelleborg 42-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Trelleborg was plagued by 34 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Alan Bedirhanoglu (-96) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Adam Fontaine (-95) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) produced 26 points and 6 steals and Lithuanian power forward Tadas Kvederavicius (200-90) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Trelleborg's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Huddinge will face Lobas (#7) in Lomma in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Trelleborg will play again at home against Huddinge and hope to win that game.
