Regular Season Round 2: Solna Branten - BG Lulea 103-53

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Solna Branten's (2-0) home victory over BG Lulea (1-2) 103-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. Solna Branten led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 26. They outrebounded BG Lulea 34-21 including a 22-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Solna Branten looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by BG Lulea's players. The best player for the winners was center Nicholas Smith (199-92) who scored 45 points (!!!) (on 20-of-22 shooting from the field). Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (199-91, college: La-Monroe) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Solna Branten players scored in double figures. point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) produced 13 points and swingman David Hook (190-99) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Solna Branten will face KFUM Blackeberg (#9) in Vallingby in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BG Lulea will play at home against KFUM Central and hope to win that game.
