No shocking result in a game when Gravelines-Dunkerque (2-0) defeated on the road Sluc Nancy (0-2) 81-75. Sluc Nancy was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 49-36 second half run of Gravelines-Dunkerque. 25 personal fouls committed by Sluc Nancy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) notched 17 points to lead the effort and the former international forward Jean-Frederic Morency (200-89) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach Christian Monschau allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Andy Panko (203-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Sluc Nancy. His fellow American import Derek Raivio (190-84, college: Gonzaga) added 15 points and 7 assists for the hosts. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque and five Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque's next round opponent will be Chalons-Reims at home which should be an easy win for them. Sluc Nancy will play against Entente Orleans 45 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
