Very predictable result in Crestmead where SEQ (1-0) defeated Bendigo Spirit (1-1) 80-63 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by SEQ. Bendigo Spirit managed to win third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Denesha Stallworth (190-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American Ify Ibekwe (187-89, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds.
