Regular Season Round 2: Aishin AW - Haneda Vickies 79-64

The game between Aishin Wings (2-0) and Haneda Vickies (0-2) in Anjo ended with biggest points difference. Aishin Wings beat guests from Tokyo 79-64. The game was mostly controlled by Aishin Wings. Haneda Vickies was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aishin Wings dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda Vickies' 36. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Tanaka Masaki (171-88) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aishin Wings' next round opponent will be Fujitsu RW in Kawasaki. Haneda Vickies will play on the road against Denso Iris in Kariya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
