Regular Season Round 2: Adareva - ADBA 84-50

Very expected game in SC Laguna where ADBA (0-2) was rolled over by Adareva (2-0) 84-50 on Saturday. The game without a history. Adareva led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held ADBA to an opponent 23.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.2 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded ADBA 44-27 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Nigerian swingman Anma Onyeuku (181-91, college: Hofstra) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Laura Bejarano (180-82) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Adareva players scored in double figures. Adareva's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paula Guillen (-91) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Andrea Malanda (164-90) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Adareva will face Badajoz BF on the road in the next round where they are favorite. ADBA will play against Al-Qazeres (#2) and hope to win that game.
