Another exciting game was played in Madrid between Sant Adria and Olimpico 64 where Sant Adria (2-0) crushed Olimpico 64 (1-1) on the road with 29-point difference 77-48. The game without a history. Sant Adria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Olimpico 64 to just 7 points in third and fourth quarters. Sant Adria dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpico 64's 16. They outrebounded Olimpico 64 38-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Center Olga Ruano (191-88, agency: Regeneracom Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Marta Claret (185-92) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Sant Adria players scored in double figures. point guard Esther Molinero (165-93) replied with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Beatriz Parada (179-86) added 13 points in the effort for Olimpico 64. Olimpico 64's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sant Adria will play against Picken Claret (#3) in Valencia in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Olimpico 64 will play on the road against IF Air Europa in S'Arenal to get more than just one victory in their record.
