Rather expected game when Sluc Nancy (0-3) lost on the road to Entente Orleans 45 (1-1) 81-76 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sluc Nancy won third quarter 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Entente Orleans 45 won last quarter 24-20. It was a great shooting night for Entente Orleans 45 especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a good game for Canadian-Trinidad and Tobago Kris Joseph (201-88, college: Syracuse) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Bandja Sy (204-90, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Comsport) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American Derek Raivio (190-84, college: Gonzaga) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Sluc Nancy. Four Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. Entente Orleans 45 will face Olympique Antibes (#11) on the road in the next round. Sluc Nancy will play against Chalon/Saor (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
