Regular Season Round 2: Forca Lleida - Palma 77-90

Very expected game when Lleida Basquet (0-2) was defeated at home by Palma (2-0) 90-77 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Palma. Lleida Basquet managed to win third quarter 27-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (207-76, agency: Duran International) scored 28 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Jamaican guard Khalid Mutakabbir (193-91, college: Presbyterian) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Four Palma players scored in double figures. American-Saint Lucian forward Khyle Marshall (198-92, college: Butler, agency: Duran International) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian guard Juan Sutina (192-90) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Palma will meet at home Palencia Baloncesto in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lleida Basquet will play against Burgos and hope to win that game.
