Regular Season Round 3: Le Mans - Limoges 65-80

Le Mans was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Limoges 80-65 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Limoges CSP Elite. Le Mans was better in second period 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for international forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-88) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Burkinabe-Ivorian center Louri Frejus Zerbo (209-89) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Mickael Gelabale (202-83, agency: Beo Basket) added 13 points in the effort for Le Mans. Limoges CSP Elite will face JDA Dijon at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Le Mans will play against SPO Rouen (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
