Regular Season Round 2: AZS PP - Polonia Leszno 55-78

AZS PP was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Leszno 78-55 on Saturday night. AZS PP was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Jedrzej Jankowiak (183-83, agency: Promotex) who scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Nikodem Sirijatowicz (188-94) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Albert Krawiec (188-94) produced 10 points and 7 rebounds and Michal Wielechowski (198-94) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polonia Leszno will face Sudety (#9) in Jelenia Gora in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS PP will play at home against WKK Wroclaw (#8) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the 1Liga just one year after relegation.
