Regular Season Round 2: Tarbes - Montbrison 70-57

There was a minor upset when Montbrison (1-1) was defeated on the road by Tarbes (1-1) 70-57. The game was mostly controlled by Tarbes. Montbrison was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Montbrison 34-20 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson, agency: Regeneracom Sports) notched 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international center Elodie Bertal (191-84) supported her with 17 points. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by forward Lucie Carlier (187-90) did not help to save the game for Montbrison. Serbian center Milena Marjanovic (193-91) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Tarbes will play against Dunkerque on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Montbrison will play against Limoges (#12) to get more than just one victory in their record.
