Regular Season Round 2: Ensino - Badajoz 89-60

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Badajoz BF (1-1) in Lugo on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Maquinaria Ensino (2-0) 89-60. The game without a history. Maquinaria Ensino led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maquinaria Ensino forced 20 Badajoz BF turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Badajoz BF's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Ivy Abiona (187-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Paloma Dorda chipped in 22 points. Four Maquinaria Ensino players scored in double figures. Brazilian-Portuguese forward Larisse Lima (185-88) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Berta Dalmau (-94) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Maquinaria Ensino is looking forward to face Real Celta Vigo (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Badajoz BF will play against Adareva and is hoping to win this game.
