Regular Season Round 3: Kangoeroes - Oostende 72-93
Date: October 10, 2015
Very significant was Oostende's 21-point road victory against Kangoeroes 93-72. It looked good early as Kangoeroes took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Oostende had a 23-8 second period charge getting the lead and Kangoeroes were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-93. It was a great shooting night for Oostende especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Kangoeroes were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian center Rasko Katic (208-80, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners and scored 18 points. International center Khalid Boukichou (208-92, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Four Oostende players scored in double figures. Oostende's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) came up with 19 points and Senne Geukens (192-83) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Kangoeroes in the defeat.
