FIATC Joventut used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Tenerife 83-75 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-75. Point guard Albert Sabat (182-85) stepped up and scored 13 points for the winners and American guard Brandon Paul (193-91, college: Illinois) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Montenegrin center Blagota Sekulic (210-82) responded with 17 points and forward Javier Beiran (200-87) scored 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
