Regular Season Round 4: Liege - Oostende 83-59

Date: October 10, 2015
Liege can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat KB D-Glas (1-2) 83-59. The game was mostly controlled by Liege. KB D-Glas was better in third quarter 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Liege especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The winners were led by the former international swingman Stephanie Dubuc (175-85) who scored that evening 20 points and the former international swingman Nina Crelot (170-87) supported her with 15 points. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by Becky Massey (185-0) did not help to save the game for KB D-Glas. Sasja Fransen (177-90) added 9 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liege (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Jeugd Gentson. Newly promoted KB D-Glas dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Liege's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Declercq Stortbeton in Waregem and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. KB D-Glas will play at home against R.Spirou Monceau and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
