Regular Season Round 4: Tromso - Gimle BBK 85-79
Date: October 11, 2015
Very expected game when 8th ranked Gimle BBK (1-3) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Tromso (3-0) 85-79. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Gimle BBK was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 29-22 charge of Tromso, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Gimle BBK 46-21 including a 23-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American center Casiem Drummond (208-88, college: Georgetown, KY) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import point guard Charlie Lee (175-92, college: Cleveland St.) supported him with 22 points and 6 assists. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 23 points and 6 rebounds by guard Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) did not help to save the game for Gimle BBK. The former international guard Daniel Berg (195-86, college: NYIT) added 17 points for lost side. Tromso have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Ammerud Bskt. Gimle BBK at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Tromso will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Gimle BBK will play at home against Baerum Basket to get more than just one victory in their record.
