Regular Season Round 2: VL Pesaro - Giorgo Tesi PT 73-74

There was no surprise when VL Pesaro (0-2) was edged at home by Tuscany Pistoia (2-0) 74-73 on Sunday. Polish Aleksander Czyz (201-90, college: Nevada, agency: Priority Sports) saved the victory by scoring 20 points. American guard Preston Knowles (187-89, college: Louisville) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Tuscany Pistoia players scored in double figures. Tuscany Pistoia's coach Vincenzo Esposito used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Semaj Christon (190-92, college: Xavier) replied with 22 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Trevor Lacey (190-91, college: N.Carolina St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for VL Pesaro. Tuscany Pistoia will face Dolomiti En. TR in Trento in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. VL Pesaro will play on the road against Cimberio Varese and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
