Regular Season Round 2: Gimbasket PRZM - Shmoolky W-wa 98-76

Gimbasket PRZM used a home court advantage and outleveled the opponent from Warszawa 98-76 on Sunday night. Gimbasket PRZM forced 22 Shmoolky W-wa turnovers and outrebounded them 36-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Shmoolky W-wa's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Gimbasket PRZM made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was Grzegorz Plocica (190-80) who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Artur Mikolajko (197-79) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Tomasz Rudko (186-89) produced 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and center Mariusz Przygucki (197-91) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Five Gimbasket PRZM and four Shmoolky W-wa players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gimbasket PRZM will face Polonia W-wa (#11) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shmoolky W-wa will play on the road against Rosa III Radom (#9) and hope to win that game.
