Regular Season Round 2: AZS UMCS - Rosa III Radom 79-57

There was a minor upset in Lublin where Rosa III Radom (1-1) was crushed by AZS UMCS (1-1) 79-57 on Sunday. AZS UMCS outrebounded Rosa III Radom 53-29 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Mateusz Wisniewski (202-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Michal Marciniak (195-79) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Patryk Wydra (182-97) produced 9 points and Mateusz Zweglinski (194-94) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AZS UMCS will face LKS Lodz (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Rosa III Radom will play against Shmoolky W-wa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
