Regular Season Round 4: Polkowice - Artego Bydg. 67-62

The most surprising game was the first loss of Artego Bydg. (3-1) on the court of seventh ranked Polkowice on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Polkowice 67-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Artego Bydg.. Polkowice made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Nicole Michael (188-87, college: Syracuse, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Polkowice's coach Wojciech Downar-Zapolski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Amisha Carter (186-82, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and international point guard Julie McBride (165-82, college: Syracuse) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Artego Bydg.Polkowice (2-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gdynia. Artego Bydg. at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with AZS UMCS. Polkowice is looking forward to face league's second-placed Wisla Krakow at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Artego Bydg. will play against MKK Siedlce and is hoping to win this game.
