Important game to mention about took place in Kawasaki. Mitsubishi K. (1-1) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Fujitsu RW (1-1) 61-58 in the fight for the fourth place. It looked good early as Fujitsu RW took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Mitsubishi K. had a 11-8 second period charge getting the lead and Fujitsu RW was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 58-61. International swingman Aya Watanabe (170-92) scored 27 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international center Risa Nishioka (184-97) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. International forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Mio Shinozaki (167-91) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Mitsubishi K. will play against Toyota B SR in Aichi in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Fujitsu RW will play at home against Aishin Wings to get more than just one victory in their record.
