Regular Season Round 4: Antibes - Orleans 66-64

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (2-2) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Olympique Antibes (2-2) 66-64 on Tuesday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Entente Orleans 45 was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Paul Carter (205-87, college: Ill.-Chicago) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Akil Mitchell (203-92, college: Virginia) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Olympique Antibes' coach Julien Espinosa used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side international guard Antoine Eito (186-88) responded with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Despite that victory Olympique Antibes went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Entente Orleans 45. Olympique Antibes will face Chalons-Reims (#14) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
