Very expected game in Goteborg where 8th ranked Boras II (1-3) was defeated by top-ranked Hogsbo (4-0) 82-68 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Hogsbo. Boras II was better in fourth quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hogsbo forced 26 Boras II turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward R.J. Slawson (206-92, college: Jacksonville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and Lucas Brehm (-91) who added 22 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Hogsbo players scored in double figures. Hogsbo's coach Jonas Fredrikson used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Emil Lundstedt (175-94) responded with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Mohamed Nefatti (196-84) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Hogsbo have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Eskilstuna and IK Eos. Loser Boras II keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Hogsbo will face RIG Mark (#11) in Kinna in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
