Regular Season Round 2: Rosa Radom - Slask Wroclaw 75-79

There was no surprise when Rosa (0-2) lost to Slask (1-2) in Radom 75-79 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Slask led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Rosa outrebounded Slask 37-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Slask especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. American guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import point guard Brandon Heath (191-84, college: San Diego St.) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Rosa. Slask will face Trefl (#16) in Sopot in the next round where they are favorite. Rosa will play on the road against Asseco and will have a slim chance for a victory.
