Regular Season Round 2: Kings - Crocodiles 77-80

Date: October 15, 2015
Important game to mention about took place in Sydney. Townsville Crocodiles (1-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Kings (1-2) 80-77 on Thursday evening. It looked good early as Kings took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Townsville Crocodiles took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 3 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kings' 34. American guard Jordair Jett (188-91, college: St.Louis) notched 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and international swingman Clint Steindl (200-89, college: St.Mary's, CA) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Townsville Crocodiles' coach Shawn Dennis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by the former international power forward Julian Khazzouh (209-86) did not help to save the game for Kings. The former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) added 12 points for the hosts. Townsville Crocodiles will play against Perth Wildcats on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Kings will play against Adelaide 36ers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
