Regular Season Round 3: Skrljevo - Jolly JBS 94-96

A very close game took place in Skrljevo between Jolly and KK Skrljevo. Jolly (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over KK Skrljevo (0-3). Jolly managed to escape with a 2-point win 96-94 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 28-20 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for power forward Pasko Vrlika (204-91, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Jasmin Perkovic (205-80) with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international guard Davor Kus (192-78, agency: Interperformances) scored 25 points. Four Jolly and five KK Skrljevo players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Jolly will meet Gorica (#7) in the next round. KK Skrljevo will play against KK Zabok (#10) in Zabok and hopes to get finally their first victory.
