Undefeated leader Hogsbo recorded the sixth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Huddinge (0-5) 121-59. The game without a history. Hogsbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Huddinge to just 6 points in second quarter. Hogsbo forced 25 Huddinge turnovers and had a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Huddinge's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hogsbo made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward R.J. Slawson (206-92, college: Jacksonville) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds. Forward Filip Sjostrom (198-90) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Hogsbo players scored in double figures. Hogsbo's coach Jonas Fredrikson felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Martin Hyberg (211-90, college: Kirkwood CC) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and Bojan Rajacic (-83) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Hogsbo. Newly promoted Hogsbo maintains first place with 6-0 record. Huddinge lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Hogsbo will have a break next round. Huddinge will play on the road against Talje Knights (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
