Date: October 17, 2015
Everything went according to plan in Kinna where fifth ranked Talje Knights (4-1) outleveled bottom-ranked RIG Mark (0-4) 74-46 on Saturday. The game without a history. Talje Knights led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Talje Knights outrebounded RIG Mark 50-38 including 18 on the offensive glass. RIG Mark was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was power forward Michiel Petersen (202-94) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds. Point guard Henrik Sjolin (183-97) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (186-99) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alexander Karras (187-98) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Talje Knights. They moved-up to fourth place. RIG Mark lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with four games lost. Talje Knights will face Huddinge (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
