Regular Season Round 3: AZS PP - WKK Wroclaw 59-64

AZS PP was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Wroclaw 64-59 on Saturday night. Strangely AZS PP outrebounded WKK Wroclaw 52-38 including a 25-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Michal Kapa (190-97) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) contributed with 4 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Michal Wielechowski (198-94) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Albert Krawiec (188-94) added 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for AZS PP. AZS PP's coach Waldemar Mendel tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. WKK Wroclaw will face Sudety (#10) in Jelenia Gora in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS PP will play on the road against Otmuchow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
