Regular Season Round 5: BG Lulea - Ostersund 57-80

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked BG Lulea (1-4) was outplayed at home by second ranked Ostersund (3-3) 80-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ostersund led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BG Lulea to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded BG Lulea 47-35 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Stefan Zivkovic (185-93) who scored 24 points. Guard Anton Kobylak-Berglund (200-96) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Ostersund players scored in double figures. Theodore Silveira Ovrebo (192-97) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ostersund. Despite that victory Ostersund went down to sixth position due to points difference. BG Lulea lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
