Everything went according to plan when Al-Qazeres (3-0) outplayed ADBA (0-3) in Aviles 77-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Al-Qazeres led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Al-Qazeres outrebounded ADBA 42-14 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Senegalese center Marieme Cisse (196-95, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Al-Qazeres players scored in double figures. point guard Andrea Malanda (164-90) answered with 12 points and 5 assists and Croatian forward Davorka Balic (188-88) added 11 points in the effort for ADBA. Al-Qazeres will face Badajoz BF (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ADBA will play against Oviedo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
