Regular Season Round 5: Udominate - Alvik Basket 83-63

Leader Udominate recorded the sixth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Alvik Basket (2-4) 83-63 in Umea. The game was mostly controlled by Udominate. Alvik Basket managed to win fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Udominate dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Alvik Basket's 38. American guard Hollie Mershon (178-90, college: Drexel, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and her fellow American import forward Ashliegh Brown (181-87, college: Miami, OH) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Udominate players scored in double figures. Anna Lundquist (176-96) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Klara Lundquist (171-99) scored 6 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Udominate. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Loser Alvik Basket dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Udominate will meet at home bottom-ranked Fryshuset (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alvik Basket will play against Sallen and hope to secure a win.
