Very significant was Ulriken's (#1, 4-0) victory against 4th ranked Gimle (2-2) 63-52. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 63-52. Ulriken made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Ulriken outrebounded Gimle 48-36 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Maren Hoff Austgulen (182-91, college: Idaho) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Vilde Tveito (182-95) who added 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Josefin Winther (180-86) responded with 7 points and 13 rebounds and guard Ingrid Gjerdevik (169-92) scored 15 points. Gimle's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ulriken have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Gimle at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Ulriken's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bergen Bergen.
