Regular Season Round 4: Blois - Mulhouse 91-76

Date: October 17, 2015
We should mention about the upset which took place in Blois, where one of their biggest challengers Mulhouse Basket (2-2) lost to ninth ranked ADA Blois (3-1) in a road game 76-91 on Saturday. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-76. It was a great shooting night for ADA Blois especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. American power forward Jason Jones (203-86, college: Northeastern St.) fired 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Zaire Taylor (193-86, college: Missouri) chipped in 16 points. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Mathieu Bigote (190-84) produced 26 points and center Mourad Benkloua (206-92) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five ADA Blois and four Mulhouse Basket players scored in double figures. ADA Blois have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Mulhouse Basket dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. ADA Blois will face UB Chartres (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mulhouse Basket will play against GET Vosges (#13) and hope to win that game.
