Regular Season Round 3: Montbrison - Limoges 61-66

There was a minor upset when Montbrison (1-2) was defeated at home by Limoges (1-2) 66-61. Montbrison was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 18-8 third quarter run of Limoges. It was a good game for point guard Tiphaine Melois (170-94) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Cyrielle Recoura (172-91) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Serbian center Milena Marjanovic (193-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and forward Lucie Carlier (187-90) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Montbrison. Limoges will play against Dunkerque (#11) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Montbrison will play against LTB 29 (#3) in Pleyber-Christ to get more than just one victory in their record.
