Regular Season Round 4: Aishin AW - Fujitsu RW 60-75

The biggest surprise of round 4 was guest Fujitsu RW's (3-1) easy road victory over Aishin Wings (#6) 75-60 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-60. International forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) fired 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International point guard Rui Machida (161-93) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. International power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Kyoko Hamaguchi (181-90) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fujitsu RW moved-up to second place, which they share with Chanson V-M and Toyota A. Aishin Wings at the other side keep the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Denso Iris. Fujitsu RW is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Niigata R. (#11) in Tokyo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aishin Wings will play on the road against Toyota A. (#4) in Nagoya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
