Regular Season Round 3: Andratx - Rivas Promete 50-75

Andratx was not able to use a home court advantage and was smashed by the opponent from Rivas 75-50 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Rivas Promete led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for point guard Gema Garcia (165-85) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 7 assists. Lithuanian power forward Dovile Miliauskaite (187-89, college: Towson, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Maria Ylenia Manzanares (175-83, agency: Regeneracom Sports) answered with 12 points and Hungarian center Viktoria Vincze (189-87) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Andratx. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rivas Promete will face Barcelona (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Andratx will play against Olimpico 64 (#11) in Madrid and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
